Registration and Location

St. Paul's Activities Center, 10 W. 31st. Street Savannah (on the corner of 31st and Bull St)

All sand volleyball sessions will be held at Daffin Park off Victory Drive.

Locations are specified below for each program.

Fall Programs Calendar

Youth Academy Level I and Level II for K-8

Club Savannah Youth Academy programs are offered to boys and girls ages 5-13. Our programs help establish a fun, healthy environment for kids to learn basic volleyball skills. The programs are instructed by talented, experienced coaches who are very hands on with each kid.

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

Youth Academy Level I - Grades K-4 Co-Ed: Building basic skills, learning boundaries, understanding tasks, and building confidence in a FUN environment. Basic ball handling, including passing and serving. Understanding court layout and boundaries, sportsmanship, team play intro.

Youth Academy Level II - Grades 5-8: Additional skills are introduced, and proper techniques are reinforced. Team play, ball control exercises, and court boundaries are understood and explained further.

Option 7 Fall Season I: Mondays 5:30-7PM September 14 - October 19, 6 Week Session
Option 8 Fall Season II: Mondays 5:30-7PM October 26 - November 30, 6 Week Session
Option 9 Winter Season I: Mondays 5:30-7PM December 7 - January 11, 5 Weeks Session

No session offered Monday December 28. Cost: $20 per session

1st Contacts Academy

Sundays August 16, 23, September 6, 13, 5-7PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

This camp is available for developing 1st contact skills (passing, digging, serving). An extensive amount of time will be spent on both technical training and repetitive work. Cost: $30 per session.

Train and Play

Sundays August 16 - September 20, 7-9PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

This unique program is geared towards players who have club or school volleyball experience and are seeking more training and game experience. Players will have the opportunity to rep certain techniques and/or facets of the game in the first hour and game play the second hour. Each week players will be playing with different players.

Cost: $30 per session.

Advanced Serving Academy

Mondays August 17, 24, September 14, 21, 8-9PM

Location: The JEA - August 17 and 24 only, St. Paul’s Activities Center all other sessions.

This is the most serious camp available for serving. An extensive amount of time will be spent on both technical training and repetitive work. This program is demanding and players who attend will be expected to work at a very high level.

Space is limited.

Cost: $15 per session.

Serving Clinic

Mondays August 17, 24, September 14, 21, 7-8PM

Location: The JEA - August 17 and 24 only, St. Paul’s Activities Center all other sessions.

This clinic just focuses on serving, breaking down the technical components and receive a lot of repititions. It is slightly lower in intensity than our Advanced Serving Academy.

Space is limited.

Cost: $15 per session.

Fall Mini Camps

Our Programs vs. Our Camps Most programs are once a week. Camps are offered over consecutive days. The more frequent players touch a ball, the better. Can players register for programs and camps? Yes.

Libero/DS Mini Camp

Camp II September 18-20.
Friday 5-6:30PM, Saturday 9-10:30AM, Sunday TBA.

The Libero/DS Mini Camp will give players the opportunity to get the reps and feedback over 3 consecutive days. The camp will focus on posture, platform angles and spacing, and floor moves.

Setters Mini Camp

Camp I August 28-30.
Friday 6:30-8PM, Saturday 10:30AM-Noon, Sunday 3:30-5PM.
Camp II September 18-20.
Friday 6:30-8PM, Saturday 10:30AM-Noon, Sunday TBA.

This camp will focus on extensive fundamental training to develop proper hand position and footwork. It is highly recommended for setters who are looking to enhance setting techniques OR the older setter who has very little experience and technical development.

Hitters Mini Camp

Camp I August 28-30.
Friday 5-6:30PM, Saturday 9-10:30AM, Sunday 3:30-5PM
Camp II September 18-20.
Friday 8-9:30PM, Saturday Noon-1:30PM, Sunday TBA.

The camp will focus on attacking skills. This is an excellent camp for players to develop overall attacking fundamentals.

Cost: Each Mini Camp is $75. There a two Mini Camps offered for each specialty (Libero/DS, Setters, Hitters).
