St. Paul's Activities Center, 10 W. 31st. Street Savannah (on the corner of 31st and Bull St)

All sand volleyball sessions will be held at Daffin Park off Victory Drive.

Locations are specified below for each program.

Youth Academy Level I and Level II for K-6

Club Savannah Volleytots and Youth Academy programs are offered to boys and girls ages 5-11. Our programs help establish a fun, healthy environment for kids to learn basic volleyball skills. The programs are instructed by talented, experienced coaches who are very hands on with each kid.

Location: JEA

Youth Academy Level I - Grades K-4 Co-Ed: Building basic skills, learning boundaries, understanding tasks, and building confidence in a FUN environment. Basic ball handling, including passing and serving. Understanding court layout and boundaries, sportsmanship, team play intro.

Youth Academy Level II - Grades 5-6: Additional skills are introduced, and proper techniques are reinforced. Team play, ball control exercises, and court boundaries are understood and explained further.

Mondays Session 4, April 13 - May 18, 5-6:30PM
Mondays Session 5 June 1 - July 6, 5-6:30PM

Cost: $20 per session

Train and Play

Sundays May 17 - May 31, 5-6:30PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

This unique program is geared towards players who have club or school volleyball experience and are seeking more training and game experience. Players will have the opportunity to rep certain techniques and/or facets of the game in the first hour and game play the second hour. Each week players will be playing with different players.

Cost: $20 per session.

Ho’s Advanced Defense and Ball Control

Sundays May 17 - May 31, 6:30-8:30PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

This program are for those who have prior club experience. Looking to receive extra touches to improve their defensive and ball control skills. Each session will focus on a variety of techniques within each skill (defense, passing) while receive many reps.

Cost: $30 per session.

Forsyth Grass Volleyball Tournament

Saturday May 23, 9AM - afternoon

Our 3 on 3 Forsyth Grass Volleyball Tournament will offer 12, 14, 16 and 18's age divisions pending the number of teams participating. Participants will be responsible for forming their own teams. Each participant must register through our website. Teams may have a 4th player as a sub. All participants will receive a tournament t-shirt. Those who register after May 8, we can not guarantee desired t-shirt size.

There is no walk up registration

Cost: $25 per player.

2015 clubSAV Summer Camps Announced

Our Programs vs. Our Camps Most programs are once a week. Camps are offered over consecutive days. The more frequent players touch a ball, the better. Can players register for programs and camps over the summer? Yes.

All Skills Camp

Monday July 13 - Wednesday July 15, 9AM-3PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

Our All Skills Camp is specially designed to meet the needs of athletes entering grades 6-12. The camp focuses on all aspects of the game with the emphasis on fundamentals. Skill development is emphasized during hours of on-court instruction in the following areas: serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, setting, attacking, team defense, blocking, team reception, attack coverage and team transition. Campers are placed in a group of similar age and ability.

Cost: $140 before June 29, $150 after

Hitter/Setter Camp

Thursday July 16 - Friday July 17, 9AM-3PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

The Setter/Hitter Camp is for athletes entering grades 6-12. This camp is ideal for athletes who have established themselves as a setter or hitter and want to improve on one of these skills. The sessions focus specifically on improving advanced hitting or setting techniques for improved execution during game situations through excellent, intensive training. Players enrolling in these camps should be ready for intermediate and advanced skills training. Campers must specify whether they are a setter, outside hitter, or middle blocker. Enrollment is limited.

Cost: $110 before June 29, $120 after

High School Tryout Prep Camp

Monday July 27 - Wednesday July 29, 9AM-3PM

Location: St. Paul’s Activities Center

The High School Tryout Prep Camp is specially designed to meet the needs of athletes entering grades 9-12. The camp will focus on all aspects of the game with the emphasis on fundamentals needed for tryouts. Skill development is emphasized during hours of on-court instruction in the following areas: serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, setting, attacking, team defense, blocking, team reception, attack coverage and team transition. Campers are placed in a group of similar age and ability.

Middle School Tryout Prep Camp

Monday August 3 - Wednesday August 5, 9AM-3PM

The Middle School Tryout Prep Camp is specially designed to meet the needs of athletes entering grades 6-8. The camp will focus on all aspects of the game with the emphasis on fundamentals needed for tryouts. Skill development is emphasized during hours of on-court instruction in the following areas: serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, setting, attacking, team defense, blocking, team reception, attack coverage and team transition. Campers are placed in a group of similar age and ability.
